All cups have a temperature strip and a click-top lid. Treat any non-negative result as preliminary and confirm it by GC-MS or LC-MS/MS before acting.

How to Use a 15 Panel Drug Test Cup

Step 1 – Collect

Open the sealed pouch just before use. The donor fills the cup to the line. Close the lid until it clicks.

Step 2 – Wait

Within 4 minutes, check that the temperature strip reads 90–100°F. Set the cup on a flat surface.

Step 3 – Read

Peel off the label and read at 5 minutes. Do not read after the time limit in the insert.

Positive (preliminary)

Only the control line (C) appears. The drug is at or above the cutoff. Confirm it at a lab before acting.

Negative

Lines appear at C and T. A faint T line still counts as negative (why faint lines are negative).

Invalid

No C line. Retest with a new cup. If it happens again, call 561-897-9238 with the lot number.

What's on a 15 Panel: Drug Class by Drug Class?

A lab 15 panel and an instant 15 panel cup are not the same test. Lab and hair 15 panels often include drugs such as propoxyphene and meperidine. Instant cups like ours use those slots for fentanyl, alcohol (EtG) and newer drugs. If your employer or court names a specific panel, check it against the tables above, or ask us about a custom configuration.

Opioids:

Opiates (OPI), oxycodone (OXY) and fentanyl (FEN) on every cup; buprenorphine (BUP) on 7, methadone (MTD) on 6. Extra opioid markers: norfentanyl and EDDP on the CLIA cup, 6-MAM (a heroin-specific marker) on the two K2/K3/K4 cups, and tramadol on two economy cups. Opiate strips do not reliably catch fentanyl, oxycodone or tramadol, which is why they have their own strips.
Stimulants:

Amphetamines (AMP), methamphetamine (MET) and cocaine (COC) on all 8; MDMA on 6.
Sedatives and dissociatives:

Benzodiazepines (BZO) on all 8, barbiturates (BAR) on 4, PCP on 7, ketamine (KET) on 1.
Cannabis and synthetic cannabinoids:

THC on 6 cups. Two cups are THC-free, for programs that don't screen for marijuana. K2 on 3 cups; K3 and K4 on 2. Read more about synthetic marijuana and how it is tested.
Alcohol, gabapentin and kratom:

EtG on 7 cups shows recent drinking, not current intoxication. Gabapentin on 1 cup (how long gabapentin stays in urine). Kratom on 5 (kratom detection in urine).
Specimen validity:

pH, specific gravity and creatinine on 4 cups. They flag samples outside normal ranges, which can point to dilution or tampering. Recollect a flagged sample, under observation if your policy allows.
Leak-proof, tamper-evident cup:

Each strip has its own control line, so you can see the test ran. The temperature strip helps flag a substituted sample. The sealed body and click-top lid keep urine away from staff and hold a non-negative sample for the lab.

Why Every 15 Panel Cup Includes Fentanyl

Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid. Standard opiate strips are built to detect morphine-type drugs and do not reliably detect fentanyl, so a separate FEN strip is needed. All eight of our 15 panel cups have one: seven at 20 ng/mL and the CLIA cup at 1 ng/mL, which also tests norfentanyl, the main breakdown product.
