How to Use This Oral Swab Test
Use the package insert included with the product for the official procedure. General oral swab workflow:
- Keep the test sealed until you are ready to use it.
- Open the pouch and remove the oral swab device without touching the collection pad or test windows.
- Place the collection end in the mouth as directed and collect oral fluid until the device indicates enough sample, if applicable.
- Activate or close the device according to the instructions.
- Start the timer and keep the device flat if required by the IFU.
- Read the result only during the approved reading window.
Reading Results of 10 Panel Oral Swab Test with Alcohol & THC
A control line must appear for the test to be valid. For most lateral-flow oral swab drug tests, a visible test line generally indicates a negative screen for that panel, even if the line is faint. No test line for a panel at the approved read time may indicate a preliminary non-negative result. Do not read results before or after the stated reading window.
