Protect Every Result with Built-In Adulteration Testing and a Secure Click-Top Lid
The Serenity® 5 Panel Test Cup, manufactured by 12 Panel Now, is designed to provide greater confidence in every drug screening. In addition to detecting Amphetamine (AMP), Cocaine (COC), Opiates (OPI), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Marijuana (THC), this advanced test cup features built-in adulteration testing to help identify urine specimens that may have been diluted, substituted, or tampered with before results are interpreted.
The secure click-top locking lid creates a tight, leak-resistant seal, helping reduce spills during collection, transportation, and storage. Combined with the integrated temperature strip, users can quickly verify specimen integrity immediately after collection, making the testing process more reliable and efficient.
Why Specimen Validity Matters
A positive or negative drug test is only as reliable as the specimen being tested. Built-in specimen validity testing helps improve confidence by screening for common indicators of sample tampering, including:
- Creatinine (CR) – Helps identify diluted urine specimens.
- Specific Gravity (SG) – Verifies urine concentration and consistency.
- pH Testing – Detects abnormal acidity or alkalinity that may indicate adulteration.
By combining drug detection, adulteration testing, and temperature verification into one easy-to-use device, the Serenity® 5 Panel Test Cup helps employers, healthcare providers, rehabilitation centers, occupational health clinics, and government agencies make informed testing decisions with greater confidence.

How to Use a 12 Panel Drug Test Cup With EtG?
Collect the Sample
Remove the urine drug test cup from its sealed pouch and use it immediately for best results.
Wait and Verify Temperature
Timing: After 2–4 minutes, check the urine sample’s temperature.
Temperature Verification: Look for the green dot on the temperature strip. A green dot will appear next to the corresponding temperature line, confirming that the specimen is within the proper range.
Read the Results
When ready to interpret the results, peel off the label.
Timing is crucial: Read the results within 5 minutes of testing.
Do not read after 8 minutes, as results may no longer be accurate.
How to Read a 12 Panel Drug Test With EtG?
Positive
Only one colored band appears, in the control region ©. No apparent colored band appears in the test region (T)
Negative
Two colored bands appear on the membrane. One brand appears in the control regions © and another band appears in the test region (T).
Invalid
Control band fails to appear. Results from any test which has not produced a control band at the specified read time must be discarded. Please review the procedure and repeat with a new test. If the problems persist, discontinue using the kit immediately and contact your local distributor.
Product FAQ
FDA-Approved & CLIA-Waived Product
This device is intended for FDA-Approved & CLIA-Waived only and is specifically designed for drugs of abuse testing in law enforcement settings.
What Does CLIA Waived Mean?
CLIA stands for Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments. It is a federal regulation overseen by CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services).
When a drug test cup is labeled CLIA Waived, it means:
-
The test is considered simple to perform
-
It has a low risk of incorrect results
-
It can be used in non-laboratory settings
-
It does not require a certified laboratory
-
Staff do not need advanced laboratory training
Who Can Use CLIA Waived Drug Tests?
- Doctor’s Office
- Occupational health clinics
- Drug testing collection sites
- Rehab facilities
- Some employer-based testing programs
If a facility performs testing for clinical/medical purposes and bills insurance, they must have a CLIA Certificate of Waiver to use these tests legally.
What Does FDA Approved (or Cleared) Mean?
For drug test cups, the correct term is usually FDA Cleared, not technically “approved.”
When a drug test cup is FDA cleared:
- The manufacturer submitted data to the FDA
- The FDA determined the test is safe and effective for its intended use
- It meets federal standards for accuracy, reliability, and manufacturing quality
Most rapid drug test cups are cleared through the FDA’s 510(k) process, meaning they are substantially equivalent to an already legally marketed device.
CLIA Waived + FDA Cleared Together
When a drug test cup is both:
(FDA Cleared or CLIA Waived)
It Means:
- ✔ The test meets federal safety and performance standards
- ✔ It is simple enough for on-site use
- ✔ It can legally be used in waived settings (with proper certification if required)
- ✔ It is appropriate for point-of-care testing
Important Distinction
FDA Cleared = Product meets federal medical device standards
CLIA Waived = Allowed to be used outside of a complex lab
They are related but separate designations.
If you are unsure about the intended use or appropriate setting for any rapid screening device, we strongly recommend contacting us at [email protected] for guidance.

All Orders Will Be Shipped the Same Day If Placed Before 3:00 PM EST.
Next-day Shipments Will Not Be Delivered on Weekends, and That the Time Taken on Air Shipments Should Be Counted as Business Days.

Why Does My Tracking Info Still Say "Label Created, Not yet in the System" When I Placed It X Days Ago?
If your order was placed via USPS, sometimes your label might not show up in their system even 1-3 days after they have received the package. The same can happen for UPS orders, although they almost always show up in their system the night which they are shipped. If you have any questions regarding the status of your order, please contact us and we will investigate the matter.
If I Pay for a next Day Air Delivery, Am I Guaranteed to Receive It the next Day?
Air deliveries performed by UPS are counted via business days, so you will receive your package the business day after it has been shipped. We also do not ship orders placed after 4 pm EST on the same day, so Next Day orders placed after 4 pm will be shipped the following business day.
Why Can't I Check the Tracking of My Package?
After you place your order, an email will be sent to you with the tracking number within a business day. If you did not receive this email, it's possible that the e-mail was entered incorrectly, sent to your spam folder, or blocked. If you did not receive this email, please call or email us and we'll be happy to give you the status of your shipment.
I Placed My Order but I No Longer Need It. Can I Return It and Get a Refund?
We accept returns for unused items as long as they are placed within 30 days after the day they are purchased. Although shipping is free upon order, we still incur a cost for every order that is shipped, and you will be refunded the amount of your order once we receive the returned goods, minus the cost of shipping.
