Additional Information

  • Built-in Temperature Strip: Each cup includes a temperature strip to help detect synthetic urine or adulterated samples. A temperature outside the normal range may indicate tampering.

  • Substances Detected: The 12 Panel Drug Test Cup screens for the following substances:

    • Amphetamines (AMP)

    • Barbiturates (BAR)

    • Benzodiazepines (BZO)

    • Cannabinoids (THC)

    • Cocaine (COC)

    • Methadone (MTD)

    • Methamphetamine (mAMP)

    • Opiates (OPI)

    • Phencyclidine (PCP)

    • Propoxyphene (PPX)

    • Ecstasy (MDMA)

    • Oxycodone (OXY)

  • Confirmation of Positive Results: If a test result is positive, it is recommended to send the sample to a certified laboratory for confirmatory testing to rule out false positives.

How to Use the 12 Panel Drug Testing Cup

1. Preparation

  • Ensure Room Temperature: Before starting, make sure both the test cup and the testing environment are at room temperature (59–78°F or 15–26°C) to ensure accurate results.

  • Unseal the Cup: Remove the test cup from its sealed pouch and have it ready for sample collection.

2. Sample Collection

  • Donor Provides Sample: The individual being tested (the donor) should provide a urine sample directly into the test cup.

  • Secure the Lid: After collection, ensure the lid is tightly sealed to prevent any leakage.

  • Start Timing: Immediately start a timer, as the results should be read within a specific time frame. 12panelnow.com

3. Temperature Verification

  • Check Temperature Strip: Within 2–4 minutes after collection, observe the temperature strip on the cup. A green indicator should appear between 90–100°F (32–38°C), confirming the sample is fresh and has not been tampered with.

4. Reading the Results

  • Peel Off Label: Remove the label covering the test results area to view the test strips.

  • Interpret Results at 5 Minutes: Read the results exactly at 5 minutes after sample collection.

    • Negative Result: Two colored lines appear—one in the control (C) region and one in the test (T) region. This indicates that the drug concentration is below the detectable level.

    • Positive Result: Only one colored line appears in the control (C) region, with no line in the test (T) region. This suggests the presence of the drug above the cutoff level.

    • Invalid Result: No line appears in the control (C) region, indicating the test is invalid and should be repeated with a new cup.

  • Do Not Interpret After 8 Minutes: Results read after 8 minutes may be inaccurate and should not be considered valid.
