What is the 14 Panel Drug Test Cup?

The 14 panel cup is an advanced urine drug screening device designed to detect the presence of 14 different substances in a single test. It aligns with industry standards to ensure accuracy, reliability, and rapid results.

The addition of Gabapentin (GAB) detection in this test makes it particularly valuable. Gabapentin misuse has become a growing concern in healthcare and legal sectors.  By incorporating it into the 14 panel cup, this test addresses an important gap in traditional drug monitoring.

Substances Detected in a 14 Panel Drug Test Cup:

Substance Purpose of Testing
Amphetamines (AMP) Found in ADHD medications but often abused for performance enhancement.
Buprenorphine (BUP) Buprenorphine is a substitute for opioids in addiction treatments that can also be abused.
Benzodiazepines (BZO) Benzodiazepine testing is conducted to detect the presence of sedatives that are commonly prescribed for anxiety, insomnia, or seizures. These drugs have high potential for misuse, which can lead to dependency or impairment.
Cocaine (COC) Testing for cocaine is crucial to identify the use of this powerful stimulant, which has significant potential for abuse and can cause serious health effects such as cardiovascular complications and neurological damage.
Methamphetamine (MET) Methamphetamine testing is performed to detect this highly addictive stimulant, which can lead to severe physical and mental effects, including heightened aggression, psychosis, and cardiovascular risks.
Methadone (MTD) Methadone testing is utilized to monitor the use of this synthetic opioid, which is often prescribed for pain relief or as part of opioid dependency treatment. Misuse or non-compliance in treatment can have serious repercussions.
Opiates (OPI) Opiate tests help identify the use of naturally occurring opioids like morphine and codeine. These substances carry a high risk for addiction and overdose, making monitoring imperative.
Oxycodone (OXY) Oxycodone testing is done to detect this semi-synthetic opioid, which is widely used for pain management but is also prone to abuse, leading to the risk of dependency and overdose.
Marijuana (THC) THC testing is conducted to identify the use of cannabis, which can have psychoactive effects. While increasingly legal in many jurisdictions, monitoring is often required for workplace safety or compliance with regulations.
Phencyclidine (PCP) PCP testing is important to determine the use of this dissociative substance, known to cause severe behavioral changes, hallucinations, and potential harm to self or others.
Gabapentin (GAB) Gabapentin testing is employed to monitor the use of this anticonvulsant medication commonly prescribed for nerve pain or seizures. Recently, it has been associated with misuse in certain populations.
Synthetic Cannabinoids (K2) Testing for synthetic cannabinoids identifies the use of these lab-engineered substances, which mimic the effects of THC but often carry unpredictable and dangerous side effects.
Ethyl Glucuronide (ETG) ETG testing is used to detect alcohol consumption long after the substance has metabolized, making it invaluable in situations that require abstinence monitoring, such as legal or treatment contexts.
Fentanyl (FEN) Fentanyl testing is critical for detecting the use of this potent synthetic opioid responsible for a significant number of overdose deaths due to its strength and high risk of misuse.

Why is Comprehensive Testing Important?

Comprehensive drug testing, like that offered by the 14 panel cup, ensures that even less commonly detected substances like Gabapentin, synthetic cannabinoids (K2), or Fentanyl are accounted for. Here’s why this is critical:

  1. Broader Detection: With a wide range of substances tested in one go, professionals don’t need to purchase multiple tests, saving time and resources.
  2. Precision for Modern Issues: Drugs such as Fentanyl and synthetic cannabinoids present challenges due to their increasing misuse. Having a test that screens for these substances ensures higher relevance in real-world testing contexts.
  3. Targeting Emerging Misuse: The inclusion of Gabapentin in this test highlights growing concerns about its abuse in medical and recreational contexts. Detecting emerging drug trends is key to maintaining safety.

14 Panel Cup Provides a 99% Accuracy Rate: Why it Matters

Accuracy is central to drug testing, as it ensures decisions are fair and based on reliable results. From hiring to healthcare to legal applications, accuracy reduces the chances of false positives or negatives. Here’s why it matters in each sector:

  • Healthcare: Timely and accurate detection prevents misdiagnosis and ensures appropriate care or rehabilitation programs.
  • Workplace: Accurate testing improves decision-making in hiring, ongoing employment, and achieving compliance with safety standards.
  • Legal Cases: Drug test results are often used in courtrooms, and false results can have serious legal ramifications.

The 14 panel cup, when used correctly, delivers reliable, easy-to-read results within minutes.

Why Test Using Urine?

Urine testing stands out as one of the most effective and scalable methods for drug screening. It can detect substances for several days or even weeks after use, depending on the drug type and frequency of use. Below are its key benefits and applications.

Benefits of Urine Drug Testing
  • Non-invasive and Easy to Administer: Collecting and handling specimens is straightforward with minimal discomfort to the testee.
  • Broad Detection Capability: It can detect both recent and past substance use.
  • Cost-Effective: Compared to blood or hair testing, urine testing is more affordable while still being reliable.
  • Rapid Results: Results can be delivered in as little as five minutes, making it ideal for high-volume testing scenarios.
Common Applications
  • Pre-employment screenings
  • Random workplace testing
  • Substance abuse treatment programs
  • Court-mandated drug monitoring

Maintaining a Drug-Free Environment with the 14 Panel Cup

Organizations often strive to create environments that are safe, productive, and drug-free. The 14 panel cup is indispensable in achieving this for several reasons.

  • Deterrence: Knowing that a comprehensive and accurate drug test is in place discourages drug misuse in the workplace, educational institutions, or other environments.
  • Compliance: Many industries—such as transportation, construction, and healthcare—are legally required to ensure their employees are drug-free. The 14-panel cup makes satisfying these regulations easier.
  • Community Wellness: Beyond just identifying usage, these tests can help offer support to individuals struggling with substance abuse, connecting them to the resources they need.

Ship Date and Zip Code Results

Why Does My Tracking Info Still Say "Label Created, Not yet in the System" When I Placed It X Days Ago?

If your order was placed via USPS, sometimes your label might not show up in their system even 1-3 days after they have received the package. The same can happen for UPS orders, although they almost always show up in their system the night which they are shipped. If you have any questions regarding the status of your order, please contact us and we will investigate the matter.

If I Pay for a next Day Air Delivery, Am I Guaranteed to Receive It the next Day?

Air deliveries performed by UPS are counted via business days, so you will receive your package the business day after it has been shipped. We also do not ship orders placed after 4 pm EST on the same day, so Next Day orders placed after 4 pm will be shipped the following business day.

Why Can't I Check the Tracking of My Package?

After you place your order, an email will be sent to you with the tracking number within a business day. If you did not receive this email, it’s possible that the e-mail was entered incorrectly, sent to your spam folder, or blocked. If you did not receive this email, please call or email us and we’ll be happy to give you the status of your shipment.

I Placed My Order but I No Longer Need It. Can I Return It and Get a Refund?

We accept returns for unused items as long as they are placed within 30 days after the day they are purchased. Although shipping is free upon order, we still incur a cost for every order that is shipped, and you will be refunded the amount of your order once we receive the returned goods, minus the cost of shipping.
